My husband and I live in the Forest Hills community. We have three daughters who attend school on the Central side of the district. I love knowing our students from the perspective of a counselor and a mom!
I grew up in the Chicago suburbs, and moved to Grand Rapids in 1995. I earned my bachelor’s degree from Illinois State University, and attended Western Michigan for my Masters in School Counseling. I taught for several years at Central Middle School, and transferred to Central Woodlands in 1998 to begin my career as a school counselor. I love my job, and I love Central Woodlands! I love the age, energy level, and sense of humor of our fifth and sixth grade students!
In my spare time, I enjoy running, music, photography, and baking.
